Gardinier River Spill - May 1988

Description
A massive, 28,000 gallon spill of phosphoric acid from Cargill's Gardinier Plant, caused siginificant pollution and fish kills in the Alafia River. The Citizens for Alafia River Preservation (CARP) were active in insisting on environmental protections. This document is from a CARP meeting shortly after the spill and contains details of the accident and community reaction.
