This is a photo huskers, shown in the center of the photo. Once the corn was husked it was placed on a conveyor belt (to the left) to pass by the first inspectors.
Paul Dickman had been appointed to represent Florida Farmers on a tour of Pan American farms. This is a picture of the delegation, with Paul in the center, in Honolulu Hawaii in 1962

After vegetables were trimmed they were removed from the plant by conveyor and loaded on to trucks where they would be taken for recycling or, later, as feed for cattle.
