Marin Estates featured modern, albeit small, water front homes in 4 original developments, shown on this map: Pelican Point, Campus Shores, Sandpiper Point, and Point Heron.

Locally produced marketing brochure by Dickman Realty on the Enchanted Circle towns of Bahia Beach, Ruskin and Sun City Center. Because Sun City Center opened in January 1961, it is likely that this brochure was created c. 1962. Photos of homes on Bahia Beach were typical of construction.

From internal evidence of Sun City Center(established 1961) picture, and wardrobe of students at East Bay High School (which opened in 1957), it is likely that this brochure was created in early to mid 1960s, no later than 1965-6 as this was when E. G. Simmons park was renamed from its prior name Mangrove Point.
