This abandoned packing house, serving local farmers in the Balm area, stood near the railroad grade.

This photo is of the Sweatt Family home, first occupied in 1907. The first postmaster of Balm lived in the house.

The small community of Balm, located on SR 37 in Southern Hillsborough County is, and remains, a small farming community.

Jeannie Tomaini continued to manage Giant's Fish Camp for many years following Al's death. This picture is of Jeannie at the Camp.

1951 Photo of cattle grazing on Dickman Farms. The primary ranch, Bar-D-Bar was south of Ruskin and north of the Little Manatee River, although some cattle was also grazed in lands that would become Apollo Beach beginning in 1959.
